Request a Visit

Many organizations can benefit from visits with therapy dogs. Positive interaction with animals can lower anxiety and stress, reduce blood pressure, and stimulate release of endorphins to make people feel better and less isolated. Smiling improves human health and well-being!

Whatcom Therapy Dogs is set up to visit in group settings such as visits at colleges where many people have contact with the dogs and children’s literacy programs where the dogs listen to students practicing their reading skills. We are not set up for one-on-one visits with individuals, such as visiting one student in a classroom. A variety of dogs work thru WTD; see our dog profiles. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to organize a group visit with our dogs.
